Year 6 to 7 Transition

Congratulations on gaining a place at Alcester Academy for September 2017. We are delighted that you have chosen our school. Over the coming months there will be various forms of communication sent to you in order to keep you in touch with the transition process. Mr Hyde, Miss Buckthorp and Mrs Mellors; Transition Co-ordinator will also be taking the time to visit Year 6 children in their primary school setting before the Induction Day on Tuesday 27th June 2017. There will be face to face transition with Year 6 teachers in order to collect critical information on the children. This will help a smooth and successful transition. Other opportunities to visits for more vulnerable groups of children will be planned throughout the summer term.

For any further enquiries at this point, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Mellors on sarahmellors@alcesteracademy.org.uk Mrs Mellors is also the Deputy Headteacher/SENCO.
